My Friend Ganesha 2

"My Friend Ganesha" was one of the biggest super-hit films of last year. It is still popular with everybody, particularly children. Within a span of one eon, the film was telecast on television 53 spells – roughly every week – a record of molds.

In "My Friend Ganesha", the animated testimonial Ganesha had learnt a few English words. Now, in the sequel, he plays a Westernised Ganesha; with a guitar in hand, donning bermuda shorts, a tattoo and a cap, speaking more English formulates.

Recently a huge set was erected at Filmistan Studios where director Rajiv S Ruia and choreographer Lollypop were picturising a song for the film. Director Rajiv S Ruia, who had also directed the first version, was utterance that children would love the song sequence as well as the film. It was evident from the reactions from the children who were participants in the song; they were thoroughly enjoying the song sequence.

Malika's Desire Comes True

Yes, she is Mallika, a queen in the right sense as she wants things to happen according to her pant. Mallika has finally managed to get her favourite leader and good friend Sanjay Chel to write and zero in Ravi Valia’s Fauj Main Mauj which was almost complete.

He said "I was not happy with the previous film hence we intent to re shoot the entire film. Removed from Mallika, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav will be there in the film. Sanjay Chhel will set this spell. "

This development is hardly new as Mallika is known for calling the shots. But for an actress in Bollywood, it certainly is....

Actor Aamir Khan is workaholic. He hates sitting ideal and always involved in some projects or the other. Too much work pressure and stress sometimes compel him to take up smoking. De Taali Released !!

Directed by- E Niwas and Produced by-Ravi Walia Embrace in affection with a friend is probably the most done-redone and re-re-done plot in Bollywood history but if done a little intelligently, it becomes quite palatable every while. Much like our undoubted old dal-chawal. And De Taali is just that – a well presented good old dal chawal.

So Paglu (Riteish Deshmukh), Abhi (Aftab Shivdasani) and Amu (Ayesha Takia) are the outstrip of friends. And they are all normal characters (Thank God). And one day, Amu realises that she is in loyalty with Abhi. Rootstock she does not really realise it all by herself. Paglu shows her the metaphorical mirror. But it's not that all consuming, I-will-cry-till-I-die kind of love at all. And guess what, that's the genuine part - There is no melodrama in the film.

Though Abhi obviously is in loyalty with another girl and talks it in front of Amu who by the way was expecting him to say those three magic words to her, it does not demit the damsel too much in distress. There is no excessively sad arithmetic where the heroine cries her eyes out over her unrequited love.

In lore, the heroine though visibly sad, does not seem to shed even one drop of precious tear over Abhi. She forms a plan with Paglu's upgrade to get her love back. And a run of odd and quite enjoyable incidents transpire. And for those who are thinking that in the process, Paglu will fall in liking with Amu and they mind start living happily ever after or Paglu will suffer a huge heartbreak (Thought courtesy: Sangam, Dil To Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai etc)…he won't. Come on guys, it's a movie backwards friends who are quite normal – as commonplace savor me and you.

As for performances, the film is out and out Riteish's. He may NEVER be able to be a Yash Raj lion, but the actor surely can make his testimonial curiousnessing enough to fall in love with. He is good with his funny expressions and quick retroactions. And the character of a loving, helpful and rather sweet friend really suits the guy.

As for Aftab Shivdasani, after a very very long time, perhaps after his first film Mast, the guy is looking un-sleazy. He is actually aspecting cute with his dimples and has lived up to his character. The female lead, Ayesha is cute and bubbly and actual though we seriously hope she changes her designer and dressing sense. The t-shirts and jeans were fine but the unsightly outfits that she tried to pass as sexy…just did not work!

Rimi Sen. Did we forget about her now? Parent she runs the extra woman – the Rani Mukerji in KKHH and Madhuri in DTPH. Except for the fact she lacks the goodness of heart of a Tina or a Nisha. She is not one to talk Om Jai Jagadish Hare in college or lot in to her foster parents' wishes by subduing her own. Moreover, the inquisitivenessing part is, Rimi Sen divergent her other films is not just a decorative share in this one. Of course she wears short garment and does some sensual dancing steps – but she plays a character, a fountainhead maked, well perception about, complete character for a transit.

There's also an Anupam Kher in the movie, who's much gaunt if you ask. It seems like he left his acting valor at national when he came to shoot for this one. He is just obsessed with his dog called Jhumroo and busts to be the plighted funny relief. There was actually no penuriousness of a superimposed comic relief character in a film which was already so light hearted and funny.
So should you watch this film?

VERDICT: Well you go out for serious 'meaningful' cinema and multi-starrers – consider them your eating out days. And there's always a venture – you may or may not savor the cuisine you selected. As for this film, it's probably the same boring dal chawal you've big up eating – but you savor that it never goes out of wise.

Amitabh Bachchan is 'Asia's Sexiest Veggie Man'

His vegetarianism has won him a new status - Bollywood mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan is now 'Asia's Sexiest Vegetarian Man' for 2008.
A poll by animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has chosen Bachchan or Big B for the top male slot and Hong Kong's singer-actress Faye Wong as Asia's Sexiest Vegetarian Woman for this year.
While 65-year-old Bachchan has dominated the silver screen in India for nearly four decades, Wong -- known as the "diva of Asia" -- has graced the covers of leading lifestyle magazines like 'Vogue', 'Elle' and 'Marie Claire', in addition to having a successful musical career.
Runners-up in the competition included Taiwanese stage artist Barbie Xu, Hong Kong's popular actress Maggie Q and Cantopop singer and actress Stephy Tang, according to a statement posted on the PETA Asia-Pacific portal.
"Going vegetarian is the best thing you can do for animals, the Earth and your health. Plus, there's no easier way stay slim and sexy -- and Faye and Amitabh are living proof," PETA South Asia Director Jason Baker told the media in Hong Kong Wednesday.
Outside the Asian continent, pop star Leona Lewis, singer Chris Martin and TV show host Russell Brand were among the celebrities who were voted as sexiest veggies.

Mallika Sherawat ready to be 'Revealed'

Bollywood's life girl Mallika Sherawat, who has signalized for a woman-centric Hollywood film "Unclothed" to be directed by Bill Bannerman, lures it 'a once-in-a-term opportunity'.
"It's a glorious anecdote - component thriller, part intellectual drama, ingredient film noir... It was so secure paced and exciting and so well written, I couldn't put it down for a second," said Mallika.

About casting the Indian actress, Bannerman said: "I was stamped by Mallika's acting prowess in 'Murder' and knew by instinct that she will be competent to do justice to the share flat."

Even another case of a fake passport has been continued in Hyderabad court in which she has her name Sana malik. During this Hyderabad court rejected her bail as she failed to show her original passport. Monica said that she lost her passport in Dubai.

Recently Bedi has getting relief to come out from the jail. After a long series of legal sufferings she is in her native village Chabbewal in Hoshiyarpur, is a prosperous town in Punjab with a population of over 5,000 every household here has at least one NRI member. There she met her close relatives and friends. Monica is very happy with her people. She is in busy to plan her future and wants returning to the films. But first she went to Gurudwara of Haria Belan saying thanks to God and got a Sropa. During whole the time she covered a dupatta on her head. She appeared in her Punjabi girl looks. Sanjay Dutt: Judgement day 31 July

Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has given many outstanding performances in his filmy career and achieved a huge success. Now when he was celebrated his 48th birthday on Sunday this star again in trouble cause of 1993 Mumbai blasts case. It would be decided on 31ST july whether this star will get 5-10 year punishment or grant liberty by Judge Promod Konde.

The son of classic actor and Former Union Sport Minister Late Sunil Dutt was accused in a serial bomb blasting in Mumbai, in this incident 257 people were killed and many injured. The special anti-terrorist court in Mumbai has already sentenced 12 people to death, the sentencing of the last four among the 100 convicts are remaining. Sanjay Dutt and his three helpers are only the left in the case to know their destiny. In his favour Sanjay said that he had arms for his protection only and it was not a crime.

Sanjay Dutt has been charged for holding an AK- 47 rifle and a 8 mm pistol in his custody under the Arms Act. It is remarkable that at the time of blasting, Sanjay Dutt was shooting in Mauritius when he came to know that Mumbai Police is investigating his involvement in the blasts. Sanjay was insrtucted his friends to ruin the weapons.

The rifle was ruined by Yusuf Nullawalla, Kersi Adjenia, Rusi Mulla and Ajay Marwah on the request of Sanjay Dutt. The rifle and cartridges formed part of the consignment, which was smuggled into India at Dighi Port on January 9, 1993, in pursuance to the conspiracy as the CBI alleged. At that time Sanjay had been released on the bail after the 18 months imprisonment by the Supreme Court.
