Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani

In Santoshi's Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani Ranbir plays the melancholy lover-boy hopelessly in love with the idea of being in love. The character was immortalized by Raj Kapoor in Mera Naam Joker and before him, Chaplin in City Lights. Ranbir in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani plays Prem a true inheritor of the two imperishable heroes from the past. He is an innocent guy with a heart of gold. There will be distinct elements of Charlie Chaplin and Raj kapoor , but not too much though.

Katrina Kaif plays a character that closely resembles what she is in real life. A little lost, a little out of it. Credulous, artless and trusting, a girl who believes in the goodness of all things. The film requires her to be young and trendy. Apparently She was excited to do this role working with Ranbir kapoor since this would be the first time that she would be paired with someone closer to her own age.

The film is slated to be released in the first half of the year 2009.

Rakhi Sawant proposes Salman Khan

Rakhi will be rakhi and sweet but bold. Recently on the grand finale of Dus Ka Dum the sensuous item girl Rakhi popped a question ‘Marry me’

Rakhi Sawant at last proposed to Salman in 'Dus Ka Dum'! According to a press statement Rakhi also produced a ring just after asking Salman to marry her.

During the grand finale of the 'Nach Baliye 3', last year, when Salman khan was the chief guest, Rakhi was not there as she had had walked away from the sets in a huff.

Rakhi had lost against Sanjeeda Sheikh and Aamir Ali in the show last year and stormed off the stage with her beau Abhishek Awasthi. Even though Salman followed her to pacify her, but she snubbed him and drove off soon in her car.

Salman was apparently shocked and miffed with her after that. But since that she was invited to his show, Salman forgave the controversy queen.

John strikes another goal but defeats Salman Khan

Bollywood’s famous Khan, Salman has one more name emblazoned in his hit list nowadays. After two people Vivek Oberoi and Shah Rukh Khan it is now John Abraham who will face the loathing of Bollywood’s macho man, Salman. John has successfully bagged an endorsement deal of an international energy drink recently. The big buzz is that the advertisement was initially proposed to Salman, but because of some date problems he kept it on a long hold.

The officials of the energy drink were in a hurry and wanted to begin the promotional campaigns soon. That’s why they had initially planned on shooting the commercials with Salman. But, Sallu’s date diaries were apparently jammed, as he was busy shooting for ‘London Dreams’ and ‘Yuvraj’. However, the producers of the ad campaign first approached Salman Khan for an adjustment but to their surprise he quoted an even higher price. Then the annoyed officials then approached John and signed the deal at a much lower price than what Salman had been offered and hence Sallu was miffed with John.

Guess what’s Salman’s take on this? He feels that the brand officials showed lack of professionalism. Anyway, forget the deal; John has definitely bagged a high alert situation!

Salman quits liquor for holy Ramzan

Well Salman Khan is a news maker and whatever he is does is some thing different or big and this time he has done it again. The reason to hit the headlines is not bad but something good. The bad boy despite being in media for wrong reasons has turned in to a disciplined and dedicated person. He had decided to stay and strictly discard the liquor only for the month of Ramzan. Aamir joins Shahrukh’s temptation

Bollywood superstars and most talented actors Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan are slated to come together in a world tour Temptation. Reports are that Aamir has given his consent to appear in the show at the King Khan’s world tour temptation. It was only on the request of SRK, who wanted his show to be much happening and bigger than Amitabh Bachchan’s Unforgettable tour which concluded recently.


Srk wants the show to be a super duper hit and wants to make the show bigger and for this he is all set to add big names to the show like Katrina Kaif. the buzz was that she was earlier discarded from the tour by SRK following the ugly spat between him and Salman Khan. some other stars are Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Rampal and Malaika Arora may join him on the tour.

Temptation will start very soon as SRK is gearing up for the tour and is making all effort to make the affair a grand one and even much bigger than Bachchan’s Unforgettable tour.

The popularity of both the Khans is undoubtedly immense and will definitely succeed in setting the stage on fire. They will rock the show and tempt everyone with Temptation.

Salman refused to sing sharukh’s song

A few days back, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan were in the news for severe ties at Katrina's birthday. The duo is not all ready to reconcile in any way and Salman has even refused to connect with him remotely. Sallu miya has been a good host at his show Dus Ka Dum, where many guests were invited and they entertained the audience very well.

During the grand finale of Dus Ka Dum, Sallu refused to sing a song from Shahrukh's film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai; it was when the special guest Rani Mukherjee urged him to croon. A Sony insider confirmed the incident, "Rani did ask Salman if he would sing the song Sajanji ghar aaye... from KKHH. But Salman refused her request outright. We aren't too sure if all of it will make it to the final cut of the show." So he sang a song from a film which featured Rani and him. He even refused to comment when Rani rose up the issue of their brawl and he decided to remain calm. Salman and Shahrukh khan's fight was purely professional though some quipped that SRK has murmured his ex-flame Ash's name which raised salman’s temper and made thing worse.

Ranbir will celebrate Ganpati with Deepika

Ganpati is a huge celebration in Mumbai. This festival has already started and our Bollywood stars are ready to celebrate the occasion with their near and dear ones. Salman celebrates Ganpati

Salman Khan and his family celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with a huge pomp and show at their bandra residence Galaxy Apt in Mumbai on Wednesday. The family always makes it a point to unite at every festive season and welcome the festival with open hearts. Salman enjoys the occasion to the fullest with brother Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan.

Salman's sister Arpita takes initiative to organize every festive ceremony and she has brought home Ganesh idol. "The entire puja is coordinated and organized by my kid sister, Arpita. We really enjoy the festivities, as we have family that comes over. We do the rituals, dance and celebrate the festival like any other family," says Sohail.
At the same time, Arbaaz said that the Khan family has always been secular and most cosmopolitan family who has never believed in religion discrimination.

"We are a very cosmopolitan and secular family. We have people from all faiths in our family and we respect all faiths and religions. Ganesh Chaturthi is another opportunity to show that people are welcome in our home. They come, pay their visits and we get to meet them," says Arbaaz.

For Salman, Sohail and Arbaaz we have to say only "Ganpati Morya".

Salman will paint for Drona

After the patch up with Abhishek Bachchan, the next step salman took was to paint one of the posters from Drona. During the long conversation in the vanity van they started with general topics salman then asked abhishek about his forth coming movies and also made a point to ask about Amitabh-Abhshek’s unforgettable world tour. Then the chatting went on and on, as they got over with the awkwardness between them. Abhishek began to show him his next release i.e. Dronna’s promos on his laptop and some posters. They were also discussing the passion for painting that Salman has, this gave a sudden idea that he would want to paint a poster of Abhishek in Drona.

This was very exciting for Abhishek too and both selected and decided the poster for Salman to paint. This also proves that now the cold war between the two has finally come to an end. They had a great time together discussing each others life. Yes our Sallu miya has craze for many things from bicycle riding on the streets to the brushes and the canvas, so this time he will try a hand on painting Abhishek’s poster and has promised to gift Abhishek the painting soon.

Salman khan to patch up Ashwarya Rai

The days are gone, the memories are faded and Salman Khan is now in the mood to move ahead with the time. He has some new and big aims in his life and wants to bury the past. With the aim of establishing a peaceful and friendly relationship with his ex-ladylove Aishwarya Rai, he has extended his hand of friendship towards Abhishek Bachchan. Salman was heard commenting that he doesn’t want to hear anything bad or ill about Aishwarya Rai as he has a lot of respect for her.

A few days back, Abhishek and Salman were also seen on the same studio shooting for Drona and Veer. Now when he looked at Abhishek heading towards the studio, Salman khan walked ahead and greeted him very politely and decently and chit chatted for almost half n hour in the vanity van. The recent buzz is also that they now mingle quite well together. Salman khan’s spokesperson Alok Mathur has been quoted saying that it is absolutely true that Salman and Abhishek met and had some chat for about 30 minutes. He also said that Salman Khan is very much fond of abhishek bachchan. So now let the bygones be the bygones for salman.

God Tussi Great Ho: Movie Review

With the passing weeks, and movies coming and going, failing to make their mark at the box office, this week’s two releases were both an average do for the movie buffs. On side was the hunky new dude Ranbir Kapoor’s Bachna Ae Haseeno while on the other hand was the remake of the Hollywood’s most loved flick Bruce Almighty under the name of God Tussi Great Ho.

Directed by Rumi Jaffery, the qoriginal character of Salman Khan was played by Jim Carey in the Hollywood version. This was the biggest pot hole for those who have seen the original one. Be Salman a great comedy actor, but whatever, he cannot beat Jim in his facial expressions and the way he potrays the character. And hence the movie is just about okay. Fine for watching once, the movie does not promise to stay on for a very long time on the theatres. The music score also is average, but the saddest part is the dressing of the beautiful Priyanka Chopra. This surely explains the true importance of a good designer in the film. On an average, not a very appealing film.

Sallu plays the character of a frustrated of God man named Arun Prajapati, who always complains to God about the miss happenings in his life. On hearing his innumerable complaints, God almighty gives Sallu the charge of his powers for a day, challenging him to responsibly carry out the tedious task.

On hearing this, Salman’s happiness knows no bounds and he thinks that on fulfilling every person’s wish, he will make this earth a happy place to live in. But to his horror, this all turns topsy turvy thus making him realize that nobody can be equivalent to the God Almighty.

Yuvraj hindi movie

Subhash Ghai after a line of failures, is all set to make a come back with his next in line flick, titled Yuvraj. Back on the track as a director, the movie cast involves Salman Khan, Zayed Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anil Kapoor. The flick is being produced by Mukta Art’s limited. It is being said that the movie is much similar to Taal in the musical genre. It is being said that this is Subhash Ghai’s next musical after the success of Taal in 1999. To add to the high excitement factor, the music is being given by Mr. A.R. Rahman, who is supposedly the God of music in the film industry (Bollywood).

High expectations are being kept with the movie as Subhash Ghai is making a comeback as a director and is on with a line of big stars.

Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor though are the hot property of bollywood, but still, their career is not much on tracks considering he just delivered a single hit last year, Partner with his best jodidaar David Dhawan. We hope, this flick is a good step for the whole cast and crew of the film.

Salman Khan avoids Aishwarya again

Salman Khan was missing at the main of Sanjay Gupta's Woodstock Villa, starring his brother Arbaaz Khan. Except Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora (who was seen with Arbaaz), no Khan segment was present. The ring is that it was the style of the Bachchans (especially Aishwarya's) that was the instance of Salman's no-show.
Says a source, "Arbaaz held a experiment on Thursday for the Khan family at 12.30 in the afternoon at Ketnav theatre in Bandra where everyone from Alvira and Atul Agnihotri, Salim and Salma Khan to Salman was present. Ulteriorly the trial, Salman drove off to his Panvel farmhouse in the evening. But the real sense that Salman and Salim Khan didn't go for the chief, which was such an important actuality for Arbaaz wasbecause Salim Khan and Salman wanted to circumvent the Bachchan family. Latterly, Salim Khan had made certain pejorative marks against Amitabh Bachchan and it would have made an clumsy moment for both if they had befall face-to-cover."
Superficially, Salman also wasn't keen on coming.

The source clarifies, "Though Salman shares a congenial tie-in with Abhishek and a warm and affectionate relationship with the Big B, it would hold made for another awkward point if Aishwarya, the Bachchan bahu and he liquidated into each other at the cardinal. Arbaaz's "biggest critic", his father, Salim Khan has also liked his performance. "Dad never moves over-enthusiastic in his praise so when he says it's good it means a lot. He's liked the film and my rendering. It was a challenging role to play where I had to convey a lot silently straightforward my words. Halla Bol - Attack by Ajay Devgan
