Sallu plays the character of a frustrated of God man named Arun Prajapati, who always complains to God about the miss happenings in his life. To his surprise, God, played by Amitabh Bachchan, appears in front of him. On hearing his innumerable complaints, God almighty gives Sallu the charge of his powers for a day, challenging him to responsibly carry out the tedious task.
On hearing this, Salman’s happiness knows no bounds and he thinks that on fulfilling every person’s wish, he will make this earth a happy place to live in. But to his horror, this all turns topsy turvy thus making him realize that nobody can be equivalent to the God Almighty.
