Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani

In Santoshi's Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani Ranbir plays the melancholy lover-boy hopelessly in love with the idea of being in love. The character was immortalized by Raj Kapoor in Mera Naam Joker and before him, Chaplin in City Lights. Ranbir in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani plays Prem a true inheritor of the two imperishable heroes from the past. He is an innocent guy with a heart of gold. There will be distinct elements of Charlie Chaplin and Raj kapoor , but not too much though.

Katrina Kaif plays a character that closely resembles what she is in real life. A little lost, a little out of it. Credulous, artless and trusting, a girl who believes in the goodness of all things. The film requires her to be young and trendy. Apparently She was excited to do this role working with Ranbir kapoor since this would be the first time that she would be paired with someone closer to her own age.

The film is slated to be released in the first half of the year 2009.

Deepika with Her Ex Boyfriend

Model-and now well known-actress Deepika Padukone is again in the limelight, for she was spotted with Her Ex Boyfriend. She was sharing a meal with her ex boyfriend Nihar Pandya, at the Royal China restaurant in Bandra. Deepika’s current beau, Ranbir Kapoor is away as he is shooting in Ooty. The hot and sexy babe Deepika and Nihar are known to have been in a loving relationship since her modeling days, but soon after the success of Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om, she moved out of Nihar Pandya’s life. According to an eye witness, Deepika and Nihar were so engrossed in chatting with each other that they sat in a corner of the restaurant for two hours, without bothering about the other people. The story is more, Ranbir kapoor also did the similar thing, by recently attending a party, with his dear friend Sonam Kapoor, and when Deepika was out of town. This posh Chinese restaurant is a favorite haunt of Ranbir and Deepika and the two are often seen in this restaurant when they are not in town.

Ranbir will celebrate Ganpati with Deepika

Ganpati is a huge celebration in Mumbai. This festival has already started and our Bollywood stars are ready to celebrate the occasion with their near and dear ones. It will be a grand occasion for the most happening couple of tinsel town Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. Yes you got it right as this time they will be together to celebrate Ganpati.

They are in full swing and quite happy as their latest release Bachna Ae Haseeno netted 30 crores from India and that in just two weeks flat.

Ranbir is busy shooting for Rajkumar Santoshi's Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani paired opposite Katrina Kaif. He will take off for a day and fly off to Mumbai when Ganpati will be put up and will be again back for the immersion. Deepika will be present at the occasion has already been confirmed by Ranbir’s mother Neetu.

Wake up Sid hindi movie

Karan Johar is all busy these days with umpteen projects in his hands. And what is more than visible is that he has left his superstitious belief in the letter “K”. While his next film Dostana starts with D, the other one is Wake Up Sid, starting with W. The movie is being directed by Ayan Mukherjee, who is supposedly Kajol’s cousin. This will be his first directorial venture at the tender age of 24 year. The main star cast of the film includes Ranbir Kapoor, whose film Bachna Ae Haseeno was just tagged as a hit, and Konkana Sen Sharma. The movie will be made under the banner of Dharma Productions.

Although, Ranbir and Konkana’s jodi is some thing very uncommon and looks incompatible, but its heard that the script demanded it for it’s an urban love story.

Recently, Karan was in with the gossip mongers claiming that he and Ekta Kapoor were in a relationship. Although he shunned away all such rumors, it would have been sure a fascinating Jodi, I must say….

Bachna Ae Haseeno: Movie Review

After a long list of flops, box office welcomes this interesting average movie. The entire flick is not at all boring, but, I guess, is majorly centered towards the young generation (the college generation). It might be a good eye opener for that section of males, or even the females, who have made love, a word of mockery.

The story, as we had earlier informed you, revolves around Ranbir Kapoor, Raj, who is a Casanova, and how he plays with the lives of girls at different parts of his life. But then one fine day, he realizes what he has done because he actually falls in true love. But, the girl dumps him for she does not believe in marriage. Feeling what pain of losing someone so precious, he sets out to set things right with those girls whom he had played.

As we had earlier mentioned in the preview blog that Minnisha is supposed to get Ranbir, we would like to clear the err. He is not with her for sure. But if you want to know who it is, go watch the cute movie.

The music score is nice, especially the song Khuda Jaane, which is making quite a lot of fans for itself. Also, Ranbir Kapoor has managed to show his acting skills invariably and looks too cut to resist.

All in all, a good film worth watching once.

Bachna Ae Haseeno hindi movie

This Friday would see the release of this month’s much awaited flick, Bachna Ae Haseeno. Sporting a huge star cast which includes Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Minnisha Lamba and Bipasha Basu, the film looks promisingly fresh and has already hogged a lot of popularity advertising because of the real life couple Ranbir and Deepika.

The story revolves around the Casanova Ranbir, named Raj in the movie who falls in love three times over in different phases of his life. First he makes Minnisha fall for him, who is a small town girl. She in her innocence takes him to be her life partner but soon gets ditched by him.

Next comes the turn of Bipasha, who is older and more experienced than him. They share a live in relationship and thus the sultry actresses too can’t resist him. But as soon as she tries to explain her state, the kid is off her.

Lastly, Deepika, who knows this casanova’s styles, tries to teach him a lesson. But try and escape his charm…You just can not….!!!

Abhishek Bachchan’s another high budget and much talked about movie Drona is rescheduled to be released. It was supposed to have a clash with the Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika starrer Bachna Ae Haseeno. As this is a high budget moive with lot of expections attached to, it has been rescheduled on 22nd august. Abhishek might get a good response for this movie.

Abhishek bachan has been a calm and go-lucky guy. But at the sets of shooting of Drona movie it was a shocker to all. He slapped a spot boy on the sets because of some silly mistakes by the spot boy. He forgot to switch on the fan. It was unusual stuff from such a goog actor like abhishek Bachan. The mental trauma was so untolerable that the spot boy could not control himself for crying for hours together and resigned from the job. Abhishek didn’t even try to pacify the boy. How calm Abhishek is really!

We can now have the Mr heart of gold Abhishek Bachan who returned the check to Sunil Shetty for an item number in Sunil’s latest productional venture, "Mission Istanbul". He took the check but sent it back which he had done in earlier times too.

Saawariya vs Om Shanti Om

Tomorrow at the occasion of Diwali two most awaited and highlighted movies will release. One is Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed Saawariya from which star kids Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor has starting their career. Other side is our King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan who is coming with his next movie ‘Om Shanti Om’. Saawariya: An Innocent Love Story

Highly expected bollywood flick Saawariya has been waiting by Indian viewers. The film is expected in November 2007 at the special occasion of Diwali. Saawariya is the next tremendous venture of the filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. As we know about the overwhelming director’s past big projects like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas and last national award winning movie Black so obviously the viewers expectations from the film Saawariya have been increased.

About the film S. Leela Bhansali says that he wanted to create a film which has intensity and passion like his last movies. So he picked out a saturated love story similarly like Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ in a Desi manner such as Laila Majnu and Sohni Mahiwal.

Saawariya has been produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali & SPE Films India PVT. LTD. thus it will be the first Indian movie which produced by a Hollywood production house (Sony Pictures Entertainment). The film is inspired from a short story White Nights by Fyodor Dostoevsky.

It is basically a pure and innocent love story starring by fresh faces Ranbir Kapoor (son of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh) and Sonam Kapoor (daughter of Anil Kapoor).

In supporting roles Bhansali takes his favorite stars Salman Khan in the role of Muslim clergy and Rani Mukerji as a prostitute. The melodius music of the film has been composed by Monty Sharma. Bollywood star Anil Kapoor is also curious about Saawariya for watching her lovingly daughter Sonam Kapoor at the big screen. It’s a big cult for public to see two star kids together in Saawaria.
