Sanjay Dutt has played the gangster in over 15-20 films including the funny ones in David Dhavan’s Hum Kisi Se Kum Nahi, and Raju Hirani’s Munnabhai. Suniel Shetty and Ekta Kapoor in this gangster flicked will take Dutt and his director Milan Luthria through a whole decade of gangsterism in the 1980’s.

Popcorn Entertainment Producer Suniel Shetty talks about Sanjay Dutt and his upcoming film, “Initially Ekta and I wanted to focus on one aspect of crime and smuggling in the 1980’s, but now we’re taking into account the whole era and ethos leading up to terrorism and international terrorism in current times. Whereas Baba (Sanjay) is concerned, he is the sole actor that suits the role and both of us wanted him in the film. He’s also starring in our next film Gen Next.”
