Rock On hindi movie

The trailers of the much awaited Farhan Akhtar movie, Rock On, are already rocking the television screens, and they look quite upbeat and in sync with the new generation. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the star cast is as follows:

• Prachi Desai as Sakshi
• Arjun Rampal as Joe Mascarenhas
• Purab Kohli as KD
• Luke Kenny as Rob
• Shahana Goswami as Debbie
• Koel Puri as Devika

The music has been given by Shankar Ehsaan Loy, and the lyrics have been penned down by Javed Akhtar. Surprisingly, Farhan Akhtar has tried his hand at acting as well as singing for the first time. With the tracks hitting the music shops already, the songs sound fresh and very gen next centric, but somehow, on a personal opinion, Farhan Akhtar sounds a little girly. Nonetheless, he manages to fair decently.

The movie also stars the famous bandy Luke Kenny, and is also the debut of Prachi Desai of Kasam Se fame. The story deals with the dream of four friends trying their best to form the country’s best band, but ending in vein. This is when, after a few years destiny brings them together to see those dreams again, and fulfill them this time. This is going to be a sure watch for all.

The actress who plays Bani in Kasamh Se says about the role, "I am very happy to start my career in Bollywood with such a big film. I play the female lead. The offer was so good that I just had to say yes. Farhan is fantastic and it is a great opportunity to be able to work with him. I am lucky to be chosen for the film."
