August 8th saw the music release of the great cricketer, Member of Parliament and now an actor, Navjot Singh Sidhu’s soon to be released debut flick. The movie has been titled, Mera Pind, Mera Home and is expected to hit the theatres somewhere in September. To accompany this Sikh, thee movie has the Punjabi singer, Harbhajjan Mann with him.
Sidhu was all excited about his new project and explained that he loves experimenting with every thing that comes across him, but completely accepted that this was the best and the most interesting experience he has had so far. On his acting stints, he says hye never new how to deliver dialogues or how to act in scenes and admitted that he has learnt every bit on the sets itself. As far as the issue of doing some other flicks after this one, Sidhu sounded adamant that he would only like doing those Punjabi films that deliver an appropriate message for the people.
The movie has been directed and produced by the famous Punjabi singer Manmohan Singh
The role that the laughter king is portraying in the film is of a rich NRI settled in a small town of Punjab.
