Kites is being touted as featuring Hrithik's most sensuous role till date. He stars opposite US-based Spanish model Barbara Mori.

The film is about an Indian boy's romantic affair with a Latina girl and their predicament as they do not understand each other's language. The film is about love transcending cultural and language barriers.

In the movie, Barabar Mori's character speaks only Spanish and Hrithik, a salsa teacher can't speak a word of Spanish. So he speaks to her in Hindi and yet the two communicate and fall madly in love. But then something happens that forces the two to split and that's where Kangana steps in, and there is a love triangle between them. Towards the end there is a thriller twist to the story.

The bases for the story is on an American dance competition where both Hrithik and Kangna are Americans of Indian descent.

Kangana's role is not bigger than that of Barbara's. Kangana plays a very rich girl and is also Hrithik's dance student.

The story is set mostly in New Mexico, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
In spite of all talks about steamy scenes in the movie,it is not about sex but an intensely romantic film.

Kites will be completed in January 2009

Hrithik nowadays chews anti-smoking chewing gum

After Shahrukh Khan being in the buzz it’s now Hrithik Roshan who is flashing the news headlines for smoking. But when Shahrukh is in favor of smoking, Hrithik opposes it. Hrithik has a clean and clear picture in the film industry for not holding any butts in films or in parties and social gatherings. By this positive angle, a pharmaceutical company has approached him for the endorsement of anti-smoking chewing gum. He is in talk with the company that as Hrithik is the only choice for them and would sign the contract soon with him after he returns from New Mexico. It is learnt that they are planning many ads with him for print and electronic media both.

A source revealed, "Pfizer is planning to launch anti smoking chewing gum in the country. They are in talks with Hrithik to endorse the product. Once Hrithik gives his approval, they plan to break into a huge campaign. Hrithik doesn't smoke and advocates anti smoking to all his close friends and family."

The source also added, "Hrithik has a clean image in the industry. Also kids form a huge part of his fan base. Endorsing an anti-smoking product would only enhance his image and help him draw in more crowds. Hope, Hrithik’s product may appeal the youths.

Bollywood actor Hritik Roshan appreciates kind hearted Shahrukh Khan for the item song in Krazzy 4 and very thankful to him. Roshan production’s forthcoming movie Krazzy 4 is almost ready to release and King Khan did an item song in the film. In the film song has two version in which Shahrukh Khan’s song will be a part of the film even Hritik Roshan’s song for promotional used only. For this pleasant co operation of Shahrukh Khan star Hritik Roshan said that he is a benevolent and fantastic actor and doesn’t need to dance because his gestures are absolutely outstanding. In the beginning of his career Shahrukh Khan did a lot of work in Roshan Family’s movies like Karan Arjun and Koyla.
The song has been sung by Vishal Dadlani and composed by Rajesh Roshan. Hritik says that everyone has given a fabulous support for making the song and singer Vishal Dadlani didn’t accept the cheque from Rakesh Roshan. Recently blue eyed star’s movie Jodhaa Akbar hit the screen and now he is starting his new project with Anurag Basu. About him Hritik speaks he is a very sensible director and believe in doing something different so Roshan actor is a very big fan of him.

At this time Hrithik Roshan is on the tour of Australia and trying to recover his knee problem. After returning he will do an item number in the film Krazy 4 directed by Raja Sen. Raja Sen is a close friend and companion of Rakesh Roshan for a long time and assist him in numerous films like Koi... Mil Gaya and Krissh…. Krazy 4 is a comedy movie starring by Arshad Warsi Juhi Chawla Irfan Khan, Suresh Menon and Rajpal Yadav. This is the first time when cool Rakesh Roshan produced a film without his star son as a hero.
