My Name Is Khan

The film re-unites the super-hit jodi of SRK and Kajol after a hiatus of nearly 7 years (they were last seen in Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in 2001)
The film is based on a real life story where the protagonist, Rizwan Khan is suffering from a rare disease called Asperger’s Disease which causes physical clumsiness and atypical use of language. The film is set in the city of New York.
Jimmy Shiergill plays Shahrukh’s brother in the movie. Kajol plays the love interest of Shahrukh for the film.

Karan Johar, through this movie, wants to convey a strong message of humanity, especially about the treatment meted out to people suffering from this rare disorder. Through his character, ShahRukh Khan undergoes a transformation in his outlook about life and the whole world, while he is being held captive by some miscreants for a few weeks. The film will also try to show that if given right counselling to such people, they would be able to easily adjust with the society like any other normal citizen.

Cast: Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Jimmy Sheirgill
Director: Aran Johar
Producer: Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions
Co-Producer: Shahrukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.

Strangers: Jimmy Shergill & K.K. Menon

sonali kulkarniFew days ago we see Bhulbhulaiya, Gauri-The Unborn and now forthcoming movie Strangers a suspense thriller starring by Jimmy Shergill and Kay Kay Menon. Strangers is the first directorial venture of Anand Rai and produced by Raj Kundra. Raj Kundra is a London based producer while White Feather’s Sanjay Gupta has sign first time a television director Anand Rai for his new project Strangers.

Strangers is a thriller mysterious story based mainly two characters played by Jimmy Shergill and Kay Kay Menon who meet in a train and become friendly with the passing of time. Actress Nandana Sen and Sonali Kulkarni are also playing significant roles in the film and Kittu Gidwani in a special appearance. Strangers music has been composed by Vinay Tiwari. According to some sources rumor is that penetrate actor Irfan Khan and director Anand Rai were close friends a time. Therefore director wished to cast Irrfan Khan for his film but his friend demanded some changes in the script and this was not possible for Anand Rai so two friends are strangers in real life.

Gradually but finally our audience has grown up for a variety entertainment now we like various kind of films such as comedy, humorous, tragedy drama and thriller mystery. There is no more time for just some boring formula pieces films. At present viewers become more choosy and sensible to watch a hindi movie. As a consequence there are many experimental movies which entertain the people and rolls up their money.
