Filmmaker Mira Nair contracted her favorite actor Irrfan Khan with Hollywood star Natalie Portman in her new film. The film is named Kosher Vegetarianwhich is directed by Mira Nair.Irrfan Khan has playing a lead role as a Gujarati guy in the film who fallen in love with a Jewish girl acted by Natalie Portman. Irfan Khan recently nominated for the Best Supporting Actor in the Spirit Awards held in California for his fabulous performance in Mira Nair’s film The Namesake(2007). At the same time Irrfan Khan received the Best Supporting actor Filmfare Award for Anurag Basu’s film Life…In a Metro. Irrfan Khan is a sensitive actor who did various effective works from the television to hindi films and known internationally. Besides doing many T.V. serials and unsuccessful films Irrfan Khan got a mile stone movie Aasif Kapadia’s The Warrior in which he gave an outstanding performance and recognized by it all over the world.
It was a historical movie completed in 11th weeks in local locations like Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh. After then he worked bollywood films like Maqbool and Rog, in both films he acted the lead roles. Irrfan also won the Filmfare Best Villain award for his acting in Haasil (2004).
