It’s A Wonderful life: As The ‘Best Christmas Film Ever’


Hollywood film It’s A Wonderful life has been voted as the Best Christmas Film Ever in a Christmas poll. The film was the gift of classic director Frank Capra in 1946. Produced by American Films It’s A Wonderful life is based on a short story “The Greatest Gift" written by Philip Van Doren Stern. It’s A Wonderful Life beat up the movies like The Snowman and Home Alone for achieving number one position.

James Stewart and Donna Reed starring 'It's A Wonderful Life' gets the top ranking in a Christmas poll organized by HMV. One of the HMV’s spoke person says that It’s A Wonderful Life has all the attributes of being the definitive Christmas film and for gaining top position, it’s a timeless appeal for all generations movies fans. The film The Snowman and Home Alone are getting number second and third in the list.
