Aishwarya as Mumtaj of Ben Kingsley

bipasha basuTwenty years ago hollywood star Sir Ben Kingsley portrait the role of Mahatma Gandhi in Richard Attenborough's film Gandhi (1982) and won Oscar award. At present Ben Kingsley is coming back to India with his new concept “TajMahal- India's iconic monument”. Probably bollywood beauty Bipasha Basu would be appeared in her first international project of Ben Kingsley.

In the film Kingsley will be act as the Mugal emperor Shahjahan himself and the pearl-skinned Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai in the role of Queen Mumtaj Mahal. Now it will be possibility Bipasha Basu could play the role of princess Jahanara Begum- the daughter of Shahjahan.

Thus the untitled film will be shot in 2008 at Agra city on the bank of Yamuna River. According to Bipasha Ben Kingsley contact her during the Seven Wonders event in Lisbon and it will be a great pleasure for her to get a momentous role as Jahanara Begum. The actress says that Ben Kingsley is very glad to assign her and she also is getting so exalted. Recently Bipasha is busy in the shooting of “Goal” with John Abraham and just has completed the upcoming film “Race” also.
