Lara Dutta: Awareness for social welfare

Lara DuttaFormer Miss Universe and bollywood actress Lara Dutta nowadays take a lot of interest in social and human welfare issues. Since she always aware for her surrounding happenings and contribute her support to various welfare organizations. At present Lara features in the documentary named SOLD, MTV Exit campaign in South Asia.

During the screening of Sold documentary, Lara expressed her views that she ever active in women welfare and human trafficking. She is the brand ambassador for MTV EXIT- End Exploitation and Trafficking. The actress said she also has been worked for UNFPA which arising the matters on female infanticide.

Recently, MTV India has attached almost 10,000 youngsters, performers and MTV's VJ in the campaign to fight against HIV and AIDS To Spread the Message and Not the Virus at the MTV Music Summit for Aids held in Mumbai. Lara Dutta very glad to her contribution for this social cause because being a celebrity she can contact with a larger audience.
