His father Taj Mohammed Khan was a freedom activist and his mother Lateef Fatima. He also has an elder sister named Shehnaz. Shahrukh Khan belongs to a middle class muslim family. Shahrukh came from Gurgaon to Mumbai in 1990 with his acting dreams and started his acting career in Television serials like Fauji and Circus. He did his debut film Deewana with stars Rishi Kapoor and Divya bharti in 1992.
